Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8/10/2026
This is a general-purpose draft template, not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review it — especially before making any specific compliance claim (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) — before relying on it for a live product.
1. Information we collect
When you create a Growki account we collect your name, email, phone number, and organization details. When you connect WhatsApp via the Growki extension, we collect the contacts, chats, and messages your extension syncs, so your team can view them in a shared inbox. If you connect a third-party CRM, we exchange the data needed to keep records in sync between systems.
2. How we use it
We use your data to operate the Service: displaying your team inbox, running AI features (lead scoring, reply suggestions, and answering questions you ask about your own conversations and notes), keeping connected CRMs in sync, processing billing, and improving reliability.
3. AI processing
Some features send relevant conversation content to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate results — for example, a lead score or a set of suggested replies. This content is sent solely to produce the feature you requested and is not used to train models on our behalf.
4. Third-party sharing
We share data with connected Google services or webhook destinations only if and when you explicitly connect that integration. We share payment details with our payment processor, Razorpay, to process subscription payments — Growki does not store your card or bank details directly. We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed credentials — to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your organization's data from within Growki, or by contacting us directly. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or similar regional privacy legislation — we'll honor legitimate requests made under those laws even where we haven't completed a formal certification process for them.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
